Take 1 candle. Cut it into 4 equal parts. Light the candles and when 3 parts get over, then it will be 45 minutes :D

light the 1st candle from one end,while light the 2nd candle from two ends. By the time 2nd candle disappears, 1st one would have reached its half way mark i.e. 30 minute.
Now light the 1st candle from the other end, so that it will last for another 15 minutes. thus we can measure 45 minute.
