Question - What is the minimum age I can apply to be a cabin crew member?
Answer
Because of the new age discrimination legislation which came into force from 1st October 2006 all UK based airlines cannot set minimum or maximum age restraints on anybody wanting to work as cabin crew. For any international airlines the minimum age requirement may be set at 18, 19, 20 or even 21 and the maximum could be as low as 32.

Question - Am I too old at 50 to become a cabin crew member?
Answer
The majority of the British airlines have an upper age limit of 54. Some international airlines may have a maximum age limit of as low as 32. In our experience, the airlines do look at a more mature applicant as desirable as they will have more life skills to put towards the role of cabin crew.
